Teletherapy For Women
It takes courage to ask for help. I believe many of us (women) find ourselves taking care of everyone else & we forget about our own wellness for days, weeks, months, even years. Ladies, this is an invitation for you to focus back on you!
With teletherapy, you don’t have to worry about the commute, traffic, sitting in the waiting room, or feeling rushed. Yes, wearing pj’s with no makeup or hair done is welcome! Yes, sitting in your car outside of work is allowed! Yes, we can talk while you eat lunch on a park bench!
This isn’t meant to be hard, scary, or overwhelming. Our online counseling sessions are meant to help you process your thoughts, explore your feelings, and understand your behaviors better.
Holistic Health
My approach is unique! I do NOT deep dive into your past, your childhood, or your previous traumas. We focus on solutions to improve your life NOW. Think of my approach as mental health + nutrition + sleep + body connection. Your lifestyle and your daily choices are impacting your mental health more than you realize. I’ve seen clients come to sessions hungry, half asleep, and stressed the f*** out. How could I expect to do deep emotional trauma work about the past when they could barely get through today!? That’s why I shifted my focus. Our work will still target anxiety, depression, trauma, stress & burnout.
Here are some things you might relate to:
- I’m having trouble sleeping. It’s hard to fall asleep, stay asleep, or I just don’t feel rested.
- My chest gets heavy and my mind starts racing, especially at night.
- I don’t feel hungry, so I barely eat.
- I survive on coffee, sweet treats, and salty snacks.
- I’m stressed out & annoyed. Every little thing is getting to me.
- I have headaches, body aches, stiffness, and stomach problems.
- I don’t feel good about myself. I’m not good enough.
- I’m just getting through the days but I don’t feel like I’m really living or enjoying life.
My services are NOT for you if:
- You want to talk about the details of past trauma and the story of what happened (try narrative therapy)
- You do not like talk-style therapy (try EMDR)
- You want to work on attachment problems, romantic relationships, sex, addictions, eating disorders (seek a specialist), or OCD (try ERP)
- You aren’t ready to make the weekly appointments, do the work, and make the daily changes
- You need in-person connection and interaction (I am 100% online)
